Eva Todos, Prinicpal Founder
Dr Eva Andrea Todos

Not only is she on our Volunteer staff at "Heart for Youth", Dr Eva Todos set up the association in Romania, where she acts as an unpaid founder. This joint appointment serves to cement the partnership between our two organisations. Due to legal requirements for charities in UK, "Heart for Youth" acts as trustees for the "Free Children" Christian Association whom we support financially. Therefore, we ensure that our sponsors' money is efficiently and faithfully put to good use. (We are currently reassessing this role as this arrangement has not been acceptable to both parties).

Vasile Sana, Founder
Mr Vasile Sana

Thirty-seven year old Mr Vasile Sana was trained as a cobbler before serving in the army from 1985 to 1986. He is a graduate from the local Bible college and has a Masters in Theology from the International Hans Edelneciss Theological Institute in Austria.

He taught Sunday school in the village Pentacostal church and Florica, Eva and many of the youth grew up attending his Bible classes. He is also one of the elders of the church. His second degree is in education and teaches religious studies at a school in the city of Oradea. His own dreams are to set up an orphanage in the village and we hope that his appointment would ensure close collaboration between our organisations. Vasile only speaks Romanian.

Violeta R, Founder
Dr Violeta R
Employed and Volunteer Staff (Free Children Christian Association, Romania)
Florica Todos, Director
President & Director - Ms Florica Todos

The eldest of four sisters (including Eva), Florica grew up managing the family farm and helping her parents to look after the younger siblings. Although initially skeptical about Florina, she grew to love the little orphan girl Eva took at home and later gave her own plot of leased land and contributed her entire life savings of $5,000 (a hundred times an average monthly wage in Romania)  for the building of the family home in her village. She and her family in Romania continue to support the projects in their village, which is not supported by Heart for Youth.

She has single-handedly built the association in Romania up in one year to include a number of projects from building the family home, starting a community computer club, conducting management courses for other charities, to preaching the Gospel of Christ through evangelistic drama and events.

Her vision and dedication to serving God has encouraged and inspired many individuals and organisations from all over the world to partner with her association to accomplish their mission of transforming Romania through God's love.

Marian Rosu, Asst Director
Asst Director - Marian Rosu

Marian was born in Cluj-Napoca, another city in the Bihor district but attended school in the village of Livada de Bihor. He is currently a third year undergraduate majoring in Physics & Chemistry at the University of Science, Oradea. Besides Romanian, he is conversant in French and English and is learning Spanish.

During his holidays, Marian does research in laboratories and is involved in the youth ministry as a member of the vocal quartet that does missions to other villages in the Bihor district. His interests are computing and he currently serves as our volunteer assistant director. We hope that his appointment will encourage more youth from the church and the village to take an interest and be involved in our project.

Adina Tamas, Social Worker
Social worker - Ms Adina Nicoleta Tamas

After graduating from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in the University of Oradea, Adina began to work almost immediately and has already been a professional social worker for 2 years. She currently works with Eva at the Foundation "Sperantei Familiei" as their social worker.

Being a very dynamic person with a heart for the abandoned and poor people, her sister, some friends and her set up a foundation "MAN" ministering to the elderly. We are fortunate to benefit from her wealth of experience and she has agreed to work for us part-time as our social worker advising us about the policies from the Child Protection Agency and helping with our present work with street children.

Adina is married and has a 4 year old of her own.

Ioana
Secretary - Ioana Daniela Todos

The 3rd sister in the Todos family, after Florica and Eva, Ioana finished high school with a love for Informatics and always wanted to a work as secretary. However, having no opportunity to pursue that interest, she worked in a factory making shoes. We currently employ her part-time in an administrative capacity.

In addition to her interest in secretarial work, she loves children and forged a bond between little Florina, whom Eva had taken into their own home. Hence, working as a secretary in our association ministering to children cannot be more of a blessing to her. She, in turn, is an asset to us as she is dedicated, meticulous and organised and would be able to handle the administration with ease. Ioana was recently baptised as a Christian in a evangelical church in the city.

Pop Lenuta, Volunteer worker
Volunteer worker - Ms Pop Lenuta

Although she grew up in a well to do family, her parents preferred her not to continue to on to university even through it was well within her capabilities. She began to work instead at a factory where met Ioana and became very good friends with her.

Not only is she known for her intellect, she has also demonstrated her love for children by working as a volunteer to help us in our ministry to the street children.

We are indeed blessed to have her working with us as the street children love her too! Lenuta has already expressed her desire to work with the children in the Family Home and her parents are happy with her choice. He currently attends an evangelical church in the city with Ioana and the street children.
